Erin LeFever

Erin’s (she/her) passion for sustainability comes from her love of approaching complex issues using a holistic, regenerative lens. She aims to help industries push beyond sustainability into regenerative systems, which actively create a positive impact on the world.

As an associate and project manager, Erin is responsible for helping organizations set goals and implement strategies to mitigate climate change and reduce their GHG emissions. She brings extensive experience from her years working as the sustainability lead in several sectors. Her expertise includes environmental education, implementation, change management, fleet decarbonization, relationship building, complex systems, comprehensive plans, procurement, and regenerative systems.

Before joining Verdis Group, Erin served as Regenerative Program Manager at the Seattle Aquarium, where she led the implementation of its Regenerative Plan, connecting staff across every department to create a Regenerative Culture while working towards goals. Her experience also includes serving as the Sustainability and Ecology Education Coordinator at the Civic Garden Center, where she ran educational programs on green infrastructure and sustainability. 

Erin holds a master’s degree in Community Planning and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Cincinnati. She serves as a GSAG Vice-Chair and is certified in the following: Living Future Accreditation, Fleet Decarbonization Program Completion, Master Rain Gardener, and Master Composter.

Erin has a specific interest in intersectionality and environmental justice. She works to ensure every voice is at the table, and she is inspired by her colleagues and those worldwide working for more equitable systems. Her Gallup Strengths are Strategic, Individualization, Arranger, Context, and Restorative.
