Colin Thomas

Colin Thomas (he/him) is passionate about implementing renewable energy, particularly solar, as a strategy to mitigate climate change. As a project manager and senior data analyst on our Analytics team, he is responsible for summarizing large volumes of client data to create greenhouse gas inventories and other key tools throughout projects.

Colin’s recent work includes leading the data analytics team for the City of Lincoln’s Priority Climate Action Plan. He works closely with UNMC’s energy, waste, and emissions data to provide ongoing support and troubleshoot potential barriers. He also co-manages First National Bank of Omaha’s sustainability implementation efforts. Colin has modeled potential solar arrays, led greenhouse gas inventory projects, and created net zero pathways for clients across multiple industries.

Colin earned a B.S. in Sustainable Energy Science from Creighton University in 2020. Sparked by a curiosity in engineering, his interest and expertise in sustainability and energy deepened while studying abroad in the Dominican Republic, where he contributed to service projects in rural communities that are experiencing the effects of climate change.
