
Megan Belongia
Megan (she/her) is passionate about finding creative solutions to climate-related challenges and ensuring communities are equipped with the tools to thrive in a constantly evolving world. She has an interdisciplinary background with rich experience in decarbonization and net zero strategy, sustainability reporting, and regenerative land systems.
Each day Megan works to deliver regenerative solutions to complex sustainability challenges that enable clients to authentically advance their climate goals. As our Analytics Team Coordinator, Megan builds tools and processes to distill large volumes of client data to gather meaningful insights and inform science-based targets and initiatives.
Megan’s recent work includes leading the development of a greenhouse gas inventory tool for the Aquarium Conservation Partnership, which is designed exclusively for aquariums and zoos and is available to over 225 institutions across the country to support their emissions tracking and reduction efforts. Megan’s recent work also includes climate action planning with ABQ BioPark and Madison Children’s Museum, carbon accounting and climate-related risk disclosure with Ag Processing Inc., and sustainability implementation with First National Bank of Omaha.
Megan completed her studies at Stanford University, earning an M.S. in Sustainability Science and Practice and a B.S. in Earth Systems. In her free time Megan can usually be found rock climbing, volunteering at her local community garden, or hanging out with her cat, Neptune. Her Gallup Strengths are Input, Learner, Arranger, Ideation, and Belief.
