LOVErdis: Nonprofits Invited To Apply For Free GHG Inventory

Once a year, the Verdis Group team offers one nonprofit the opportunity to tackle some of its biggest sustainability challenges. Since kicking off the LOVErdis program in 2019, we’ve worked with recipients such as the Joslyn Art Museum, the Jewish Federation of Omaha, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, and Metro Transit Omaha. We’re excited to welcome another organization into the LOVErdis ranks!

We will conduct a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory for the selected organization, the first vital step toward making realistic, measurable sustainability progress. Our experienced team has produced GHG inventories for a wide variety of clients, from multinational corporations and multi-county municipalities to large nonprofits.

The project steps include:

1. Kickoff meeting

2. Collect all relevant information (utility bills, building details, employee commuting, etc.)

3. Prepare greenhouse gas inventory

4. Present findings to key staff and partners

Interested nonprofits can submit their application below. (It’s short and simple!) Applications should be submitted by Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 5 p.m. CT. We will make an award by April 3, 2024, and we will work with you to determine the best time to complete the project.

Update: Application is now closed

Other terms and conditions: Only nonprofits in the metro areas where our employees reside are eligible, which includes Omaha, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Buffalo. Our services are FREE and any future costs are the responsibility of the nonprofit.

We’re excited to continue giving back to the communities that have been so supportive of us over the years!
