Navigating ESG? Our Net Zero Pathway Can Help

Employees, investors, customers, and other stakeholders are increasingly requesting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria from organizations, including greenhouse gas emissions data.

Associate Arnaud Manas, who helped create and launch our Net Zero Pathway service, recently joined me in discussing what companies need to do to be prepared for those requests. Using our Net Zero Pathway, your organization can be on its way to decarbonization in three steps.

First and foremost, organizations should measure their current baselines. To measure greenhouse gas emissions, for example, conduct a greenhouse gas inventory. Or to measure waste, conduct a waste audit. Verdis Group is well-versed in establishing baselines in a number of areas including emissions, waste, water, materials, and more. Alternatively, we can also validate and verify that you’ve conducted your own greenhouse gas inventory accurately.

Then comes the fun part: action! What are you going to do about your measured emissions? Net Zero is becoming a more popular goal, but your action toward that goal is what matters. Our Net Zero Pathway service will give you the clarity to make a plan of action that works for your team.

Lastly, execute the plan! Engage your stakeholders and customers to collaborate, track, and celebrate your progress along the way. Our team of experts can work with your organization to facilitate and organize the implementation of the selected strategies, supported by the appropriate tools and processes, to meet your sustainability goals.
