Colin Thomas (he/him) is passionate about implementing renewable energy, particularly solar, as a strategy to mitigate climate change. As a data analyst on our Analytics team, he is responsible for summarizing large volumes of client data to create greenhouse gas inventories and other key tools throughout projects.

Colin earned a B.S. in Sustainable Energy Science from Creighton University in 2020. Sparked by a curiosity in engineering, his interest and expertise in sustainability and energy deepened while studying abroad in the Dominican Republic, where he contributed to service projects in rural communities that are experiencing the effects of climate change.

Colin’s Gallup Strengths are Adaptability, Analytical, Self-Assurance, Ideation, and Strategic.

My role at Verdis: As an analyst, if there is a problem-solving or technical issue, I am the person to go to.

One skill that everyone should learn: Everyone should learn some basic dance moves. Dancing is a fun activity, good workout, and a neat little talent to have!

The best advice I’ve ever received: The best advice I have ever received is that everyone makes mistakes. What is important is that you learn from them and grow.

My favorite place in the world: My favorite place in the world is a beach in the early evening. The world just feels so peaceful!
