We’re Hiring a Sustainability Analyst Intern!

Verdis Group is committed to helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals through customized, long-term climate action plans and sustainability consulting. We are seeking a qualified individual for a paid internship during the summer of 2025. Ideal candidates for the Sustainability Analyst Intern role will be pursuing or have completed an undergraduate degree in a field related to environmental sustainability.
The role requires a diverse set of skills and abilities, including strong data analysis and writing skills, reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, and a passion for sustainability. The intern will support Verdis Group’s exceptional analytics team and will have numerous opportunities to learn and grow.

Essential Functions
- Crunching data
- Perform various numerical and theoretical analyses as directed by senior staff. Collecting, managing, tracking, and summarizing data are crucial components of the Intern’s responsibilities. Knowledge of Excel is required.
- Effective Communication & Writing
- Prepare communications for diverse audiences, including both internal and external parties. Contribute technical writing to client reports and presentations. Support team members through editing and formatting, as necessary.
- Miscellaneous Project Work
- Assist with client projects as required, which may include research, taking minutes, disseminating information, preparing presentations, brainstorming recommendations, and general project management.
- Administrative Duties
- General administrative responsibilities may include scheduling meetings, purchasing office supplies and equipment, maintaining organized electronic filing systems, running errands, preparing correspondence, editing and formatting documents and presentations, arranging travel, and performing other assigned tasks.
Schedule & Location
Internships require a minimum of 10-15 hours per week with an opportunity for additional hours if desired. Work hours are flexible, and some may be completed remotely.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is $17/hour.
