Dr. Ali Khan is the Dean of the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (a client of ours since 2009). He was previously Director of the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2010 – 2014, is a retired Assistant Surgeon General, and is the author of The Next Pandemic.

Dr. Khan was the perfect first guest to help us frame how the pandemic is a huge opportunity to leverage the disruption to create a new normal that is just, resilient and sustainable. He is, after all, an expert on pandemics, and from personal experience I know that he’s absolutely committed to addressing the climate crisis.
